The TRYPOLSKA Gallery is engaged in projects related to Ukraine after a full -scale invasion. One of these projects is Pour L’Ukraine exhibitions, which have two Ukrainian artists, Vladimir Budnikov and Vlad Ralko presented their works in Paris and Prague. These exhibitions had political orientation and reminded of the continuation of the war in Ukraine, but the works presented also caused a dialogue among European viewers.

In the third project, the solo exhibition of photos of Edith Landau, TRYPOLSKA Gallery retreated from political color and presented a solo exhibition of Edith Landau's photograph in the Museum of Kyiv's history - a project containing more than 50 photo works. At a time when many measures are aimed at saving art through evacuation, Trypolska brings works from peaceful France to Ukraine at their own risk. Russia is known as a terrorist country that uses fear as the main tool. The complete opposite is this act of continuing the development of art in the new conditions, adaptation to the realities of war and preventing cultural isolation of Ukraine.

It is an important effect for the cultural life of Ukraine, which is now opposed to Russian aggression. The exposition is dedicated to the birth of bodily landscape and is made in the style of classic analog photography. The portrait genre recedes to the background, and people are only a background to create a new landscape.

Photography Edith uses a visual language that reflects a person in a distorted reality and shows his vulnerability. Her photos are marked by the figurative breaking of the body, which is presented in fragments, but this does not cause a feeling of a simple puzzle that requires assembly or supplemented by the viewer.
