The animal gods in our exposition are different - they are real, semi-real, or absolutely imaginary. They were created by modern artists in different styles and techniques, embodied in different materials - at a distance of thousands of years from those ancient, hairy and somewhat wild ancestors, who painted their masterpieces on cave walls. Yet we and our cave peers share an idea that they, animals, are truly gods.
A joint project of two acknowledged masters. Steeped with symbols, exquisite graphic works by Oksana Stratiychuk and fabilous volumed deep textures of abstract landscapes created by the maestro of levkas technique Valery Shkarupa. Does the horizon line exist in reality? What does a universal landscape look like that doesn't represent a specific location? Feel at the same time the symbiosis and differences of two natural structures, gesso and graphics, depth of volumes and infinity of forms
